Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Cash Flow, Leverage, Net Working Capital and Investment Opportunity Set on Cash Holding. The research method used in this research is a quantitative method using secondary data in the form of company financial reports. The analytical method used in this research consists of classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using SPSS version 25. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling technique. The number of samples in this research was 68 samples from 17 basic materials sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2019-2022 period. Based on the results of research that has been conducted, Cash Flow has a significant positive effect on Cash Holding, Leverage has no effect on Cash Holding, Net Working Capital has a positive effect on Cash Holding and Investment Opportunity Set has an effect but is not significant on Cash Holding
