Abstract
ABSTRACT This research aims to analyze the implementation of community empowerment in Sindang Mulya Village, Cibarusah District, Bekasi Regency. The main focus of this research is how the village government carries out community empowerment. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation studies. The research results show that community empowerment in Sindang Mulya Village includes several aspects, namely enabling, strengthening, protecting, supporting and maintaining. The community empowerment programs that have been implemented are hydroponics, screen printing workshops and MSME development, the results of which have had a positive impact on increasing community capacity. However, there are several obstacles such as limited resources, low community participation, and dependence on government assistance. Efforts made by the village government include increasing access to information, ongoing training, and collaboration with various related parties to support the success of community empowerment programs. This research concludes that community empowerment can run more effectively with careful planning, active community participation, and ongoing support from local government.
