Abstract
Solar energy is a potential solution to overcome the energy crisis and the environmental impact of fossil fuels. However, fluctuations in solar intensity require stable technology. This research develops a portable solar power generator (PLTS) based on Arduino Uno with a PID control system to maintain the stability of the inverter output voltage. Test results show that the PZEM-004T sensor has a margin of error of ±0.50% for voltage and ±1.88% for current. The PID system reaches the voltage setpoint within 3-6 seconds depending on the load. The inverter protection system also works optimally with a success rate of 100% in various test scenarios, such as protection against Cos φ, short circuit and low voltage, with response times ranging from 403 ms to 2020 ms. In five days of continuous testing, the output voltage was stable at 220 volts AC with an average efficiency of 79.61% and a usage duration of 77.1 minutes. This system has a maximum power capacity of 200 VA, supporting the efficiency and sustainability of renewable energy.
