Abstract
Final year students often face academic stress due to increased demands. This study aims to examine the relationship and influence of mindfulness and academic resilience on academic stress. Using quantitative methods, data were analyzed using Spearman Rank correlation and simple linear regression on 271 final year students selected through proportional sampling. The measuring instruments used were the ESSA scale, the constructed mindfulness scale, and the academic resilience scale from previous research. The results showed that mindfulness had a significant negative relationship with academic stress, while academic resilience had a significant positive relationship with academic stress. The contribution of mindfulness to academic stress is 79.7%, and academic resilience is 74.4%.
