Abstract

Event committee room facilities sometimes have low security where usually anyone can access the room without exception. Therefore, the author wants to make a tool to help the committee of an event to improve security in the committee room. Then a Security System Application was made using the E-KTP program which is controlled by a microcontroller as a control center on the system and several other components as a supporting tool for this application. The room security uses this E-KTP, using Arduino Uno R3 as a controller or the main brain of the electronic circuits used, Arduino Uno R3 has inputs as inputs and outputs as outputs that can control electronic components and equipment. Based on testing, overall this tool consists of three important parts that are interconnected with each other, namely Hardware, Software, and mechanics. The hardware consists of a power supply that has a source of 12V with a current of 5V, an Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller, radio frequency identification (RFID), Selenoid Door Lock, Relay, 16x2 liquid crystal display (LCD). The software part consists of the Arduino IDE, while the mechanical part consists of making the framework, control circuit box, component installation and wiring.
