Abstract
Issues regarding waste problems can be addressed in a sustainable manner if there is good community participation. One effort that seeks to increase community participation is through the Muara Bakti Bersih Waste Bank. This research aims to determine: (1) Describe the stages of community participation in waste management through the Muara Bakti Bersih Waste Bank. (2) Analyze the influence of gender, age and education on the level of community participation in waste management through the Muara Bakti Bersih Waste Bank. The research approach used is quantitative research using survey methods and distributing questionnaires. Sample data was analyzed using Univariate analysis, independent sample t test, oneway ANOVA test. The results of this research show that the characteristics of gender, age and education have a significant effect on the level of community participation in waste management through the Muara Bakti Bersih waste bank.
