Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of work discipline and motivation on the performance of employees at Bina Karya Mandiri Vocational School, Bekasi City. The population is employees of Bina Karya Mandiri Vocational School, Bekasi City. The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive research. Data obtained from questionnaires and sampling from 60 respondents. Data analysis used multiple regression analysis tests using the Statistical Product and Service Solution 25 (SPSS 25) program. The results of this research show that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at Bina Karya Mandiri Vocational School, Bekasi City. This is proven by the value β1 = 0.539 with t-count = 6.967 and sig of 0.000. Motivation does not have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Mandiri Bina Employee Vocational School, Bekasi City. This is proven by the value β2 = 0.207 with t-count = 1.687 and sig = 0.097. The regression method developed is suitable (F count 76.684; sig 0.000) where variations in employee performance can be explained by work discipline and work motivation of 72% while the remaining 28% is influenced by other factors not studied.
