Abstract

The Bogor Regency area is one of the problems that must be considered and handled wisely. The Bogor Regency area has busy and growing centers of industrial and tourism activities that result in a high level of travel. Traffic jams at intersections can interfere with the activities of local residents, one example such as what happened at the Cileungsi Metland Intersection which is the meeting point between Jalan Raya Cileungsi, Jalan Raya Jonggol, and Jalan Kota Taman Metropolitan. Traffic at the Metland Cileungsi Junction is a source of congestion that causes vehicle queues due to the high volume of vehicles during peak hours. Evaluating traffic flow congestion that occurs at the Metland Cileungsi Signalless Tiga Tak Junction against traffic congestion on the Cileungsi-Jonggol highway section. The goal is to improve the performance of Simpang services so that it can reduce congestion that occurs in the area, especially during the morning, afternoon and evening rush hours. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the performance of the intersection during the afternoon peak hours was very high with a capacity value (C) of = 2063.76 smp/h with traffic flow = 7885.2 smp/h. With these results, the degree of saturation (DS) on Jalan Raya Cileungsi – Jonggol – Jalan Kota Taman Metropolitan is = 3.82 > from the degree of saturation (DS) of MKJI (1997) = 0.85 Keywords: Intersection Three Without Signals, Road Capacity Manual Indonesia 1997, Average Daily Traffic
