Abstract

Bekasi City is one of the cities in the West Java region. Bekasi City it is also famous for housing development that is so luxurious and very rapid, and owns various kinds of buildings such as several restaurants, restaurants and hotels in it. Traffic conditions in Bekasi City not spared from congestion during busy working hours and days. Therefore, the author will do Analysis of the causes of congestion that occurred on the Road Bekasi City in order to find out what causes the congestion. Analyze the causes of road congestion with the metode MKJI (1997). The data used is in the form of LHR (Average Daily Traffic) and Road Geometric data. Results of the performance analysis of the Bekasi Highway section with the length of the section 500m West with Capacity value (C) as 7.587,6 (DS) 5,57 and Level Of Service (LOS) as >1,00 Included Category F. Meanwhile, the performance of the East with Capacity value (C) as 6.485,3 (DS) 4,76 and Level Of Service (LOS) as >1,00 Included Category F. Keywords : Roads, Road Performance, MKJI (1997).
