Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to analyze the delivery of goods by own vehicle using the North West Corner and Vogel's Approximation methods at CV Mitra Visi Persada; (2) to find out the best solution for companies to streamline shipping costs. This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. The data used is CV Mitra Visi Persada delivery data for 2022 and 2023. In this research, the methods used are North West Corner and Vogel's Approximation Method as the initial solution and Modified Distribution as the optimum solution. The costs incurred before the research by CV Mitra Visi Persada were IDR 307,016,000. The calculation results using the North West Corner method and Vogel's Approximation method as well as Modified Distribution as the optimum solution get a shipping cost of IDR 197,120,600.-. From this research, CV Mitra Visi Persada can apply one of the methods between North West Corner and Vogel's Approximation.
