Abstract

Roads are land transportation infrastructure that is very important in facilitating economic activities. Road infrastructure that is burdened by high and repeated traffic volumes will cause a decline in road quality. As an indicator, it can be seen from the condition of the road surface, both structural and functional conditions that are damaged. This causes a decrease in the level of road service which will affect the level of safety and comfort for road users, as is the case on the HM road. Joyo Martono, Margahayu, Bekasi Regency, which is the entry and exit access to the East Bekasi toll gate with a high level of traffic flow. Based on the background above, researchers will conduct an evaluation of road damage due to the volume of traffic that occurs on the HM Joyo Martono road section. The data used in this research is road performance data, namely vehicle volume, road capacity, side obstacles, type/type of damage, and length of road segments. Calculation analysis using the 1990 Bina Marga Method. Based on the results of the analysis of road damage on Jalan HM Joyo Martono, the number of damages was 30, including groove damage, holes, crocodile cracks, longitudinal cracks and loose grain. The values for the priority order for the Jalan HM Joyo Martono section from stationing 0+000 – 1+500 are 5, 4 and 5. Until an average priority order value is obtained of 4.6, namely handling with a periodic maintenance program. Handling damage using the Ministry of Public Works' 2010 Practical Guidelines for Routine Road Maintenance, including Patching (P5), Leveling (P6), Closing Cracks (P3).
