Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of convenience, usefulness, socialization, and trust in the government on the attention of Individual Taxpayers to the application of the Population Identification Number (NIK) as a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP). The method used in this study is a quantitative research method. The population in this study is Individual Taxpayers registered at the North Bekasi Pratama KPP. The sampling technique used was the convenience sampling method with a total of 132 respondents. Data collection uses questionnaires distributed online through social media. This study uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) data analysis technique with the help of SmartPLS 3.0 data analysis tool. The results of the study show that the usefulness and trust in the government have a positive and significant effect on the implementation of the Population Identification Number (NIK) as a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP). As for the variables of convenience, and socialization have a positive and insignificant effect on the implementation of the Population Identification Number (NIK) as a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP). Suggestions for researchers to further research can add other variables, as well as test in different locations to find out other factors that can affect the implementation of the Population Identification Number (NIK) as a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP).
