Abstract

ABSTRACT Name : Elisa Afpentic NPM : 41182109180113 Title : Quantum Learning Method Can Improve The Ability To Write Poetry In Elementary School Al Azhar Syifa Budi Legenda. This study aims to determine the ability of students in writing poetry. The low ability of students in writing poetry at Al Azhar Syifa Budi Legenda Elementary School. This can be seen when the researchers conducted direct observations and interviews with the school that students still had difficulty in determining the theme, imagination, and diction or word development in the form of written poetry. The purpose of the study was to improve students' poetry writing skills using the quantum learning method at Al Azhar Syifa Budi Legenda Elementary School. This research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycle stages. Each cycle is carried out with four stages, from planning, implementation, action and reflection. The research was conducted for four meetings, where each cycle was carried out for two days or two meetings. The number of students is 14 male students, and 10 female students. Collecting data in this study using performance tests and observations. The results showed that the classical completeness of class V in the first cycle was 66.6% with an average value of 81.9. In the second cycle, classical completeness increased to 87.5% with an average of 89.8. By looking at the data, it can be said that the quantum learning method can improve the ability to write poetry. Key Words: quantum learning method, poetry writing ability, elementary school.
