Abstract
Even though it still seems very difficult for women to occupy/obtain high positions or according to their wishes, especially in countries that adhere to a patriarchal system like Indonesia, women's opportunities to become workers are relatively limited because of society's perception which tends to be discriminatory towards limiting the role of women only to household matters. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are an international commitment to improve the quality of life from one generation to the next, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) has also been ratified with Law Number 7 of 1984 concerning Ratification of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women . The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of gender mainstreaming for female employees/workers at PT. Transportasi Jakarta and public perception of the implications of gender mainstreaming in Transjakarta public transportation modes. Researchers studied this by using a constructivism paradigm with qualitative research methods accompanied by a case study research approach. The data collection techniques include: observation, in-depth interviews, literature study, documentation. The data analysis technique, as well as the informant recruitment technique, is purposive sampling. The research results show that the implementation of gender mainstreaming in PT. Transportasi Jakarta has a positive impact on female employees, including increasing communication skills, self-confidence, and guaranteeing equal rights and obligations with male colleagues. However, challenges remain in maintaining and improving the implementation of gender mainstreaming in the future, especially related to placement in the highest positions in companies.
