Abstract

The ring forming machine is one of the machines at PT X that is used to make snaprings. The size of the product produced by the machine is often unstable, which is influenced by many factors such as machine settings, machine mechanics, operators and others. Because of this, many product sizes are not suitable so that they become NG (Not good), but the checking itself is still manual with human assistance and only measures a few samples so it is still possible for NG products to pass to the customer. Therefore, to overcome or reduce these problems, a camera system is added that is synchronized with the conveyor so that it can check each product produced, so that all products sent to customers are good and according to standards. From the results of camera measurements, the average percentage of camera error readings reached 0.9% or 1.6 μm. This is in accordance with the company's mission to ensure the quality of the products produced.
