Abstract

The cupmaker machine is one of the machines operating in companies operating in the food industry in the form of instant noodles with the mie sedaap trademark. The cupmaker machine itself is a machine that produces cup packaging made from paper which is shaped in such a way that the cup packaging is useful as a place to brew instant noodles as a finished product. To support cup production in order to produce quality products, therefore a paper rewinding tool was created that works automatically, so that the leftover pieces of paper from the cup packaging are rejected due to the resulting hole in the bottom of the cup being reduced, and increasing the production effectiveness of the cupmaker machine. This research uses a tool implementation method that is applied to the cupmaking machine at pt. After carrying out this research, it was discovered that the use of an automatic paper rewinding machine was able to help maintain the product quality of the cupmaking machine. With this automatic paper rewinding tool, cup production results at pt.PAS, The use of this automatic paper rewinding tool takes into account the production speed of the cupmaking machine against the frequency of the automatic paper rewinding machine, where production quantity can increase by reducing downtime due to defects in the bottom cup product and the smooth production of the cup it self.
