Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze how to implement the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system based on the results of internal audits and types of product damage and analyze the factors that cause product damage at PT Kayu Permata. The method used in this study is the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method with Seven QC Tools such as Check Sheet, Pareto Diagram, and Causal Diagram. The use of these three tools is in accordance with the formulation of the problem in this study where the checksheet is to find out the amount of production, the type of defect, and the percentage. The pareto diagram is used to determine the defect variant and its dominance, and the Causation diagram is used to analyze the factors that cause the defect. This type of research uses a qualitative method. Data sources are obtained from primary data obtained directly from the company and secondary data obtained from other sources of books and media. Based on the results of the research, there are obstacles related to clause 5, clause 6, clause 7, and clause 8 in the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 standard Based on the results of data management using Check Sheets, the number of production for six years is 249,050 pcs and the number of rejections is 1,327 pcs consisting of defect variants grepes, botak, delamination, under size, and pecah. Of the five types of defects, the most dominant damage was grepes as many as 424 pcs. Based on the results of the cause-and-effect diagram, the dominant damage is caused by material, human, method, and machine factors, so the researcher gave advice to PT Kayu Permata to buy materials above the company's standards, provide special training and training for employees, ensure that the methods used during the production process are appropriate, and routinely carry out machine maintenance according to the set schedule.
