Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes in science subjects in elementary schools that researchers found in various journal articles. The low science learning outcomes are indicated by the fact that there are still many students who have not reached the KKM. The cause of this problem is because teachers never ask students to discuss in learning, rarely use models in learning, rarely give students the opportunity to ask questions and express opinions and result in students being unable to answer or solve a problem in the learning process they are facing, thus affecting the results. learn it. One solution to overcome this problem is to apply the Problem Solving learning model. This research aims to examine the application of the Problem Solving model to learning outcomes in science subjects for elementary school students. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by analyzing 15 journals resulting from previous research related to inclusion criteria 1) keywords "Problem Solving model", "learning outcomes", "science subjects" "primary school", research articles in spanning the last 10 years, journal articles use Indonesian, journal articles use science subjects, journal articles cover elementary school students, journal articles discuss variables X and Y, journal articles are not in the form of theses. The analysis sample in this research consisted of 15 journals that were published in the period 2013-2023 which were studied through various aspects, namely: 1) research methods, 2) application of the Problem Solving model in low and high grades, 3) application using media, 4) application based on material, 5) and application based on learning outcome indicators. Recommendations that can be given from researchers to future researchers include the use of Pop-Up Book media. Based on the findings of the analysis of the 15 journals, there are differences in results, but overall it shows the conclusion that the Problem Solving model can improve learning outcomes and provide a positive influence on elementary school students.
