Endah Maulidiyah. 2024. “IMPLEMENTATION OF RELIGIOUS MODERATION IN THE INDEPENDENT CURRICULUM TO IMPROVE STUDENT’S MODERATE ATTITUDES TOWARDS PAI LEARNING AT SMKN 1 SETU”. Islamic Religious Education Study Program Thesis, Faculty of Islamic Religion, Islamic University 45 Bekasi. This thesis discusses the Implementation of Religious Moderation in The Independent Curriculum to Improve Student’s Moderate Attitudes towards PAI Learning at SMKN 1 Setu. This research aims to determine the implementation of religious moderation in The Independent Curriculum to improve student’s moderate attitudes towards PAI Learning at SMKN 1 Setu which includes planning, implementation and implications. This type of research is descriptive qualitative which reveals the form of implementation of religious moderation in The Independent Curriculum to improve student’s moderate attitudes towards PAI Learning at SMKN 1. The methods used in data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The result of this research show that: 1) Planning for the implementation of religious moderation in the Independent Curriculum in Islamic Religion Education learning is quite good, seen from the preparation of teaching modules based on the Independent Curriculum as well as embedded material on religious moderation and the value of religious moderation realized through learning methods which is adapted to material that contains the value of religious moderation. 2) The implementation of religious moderation is carried out by using learning methods, namely lecture methods and practical sermons and tausiah which aim to generate moderate attitudes by respecting each other, respecting each other, listening to each other, being fair friends and being able to work together well during the learning process. 3) The implication for implementation religious moderation is that students have very good religious and social attitudes, such as being obedient in worship, respecting others and being tolerant.
