Abstract
Taufiq Zaki, Npm : 41182911190147 "Parenting Patterns in Enforcing Children's Discipline in Carrying out Compulsory Prayers at Rt.007/09 Mangun Jaya Village, South Tambun District, Bekasi Regency" Supervisor : Dr. Rabiyannur Lubis, MM. The aim of this study is to find out the parenting patterns applied by parents in enforcing the discipline of children to perform compulsory prayer services, to know the implementation of compulsory prayer services of children while at home, to know the obstacles faced by parents in educating children for the discipline of enforcing compulsory prayer worship. This study was carried out using the method of analysing data obtained during the research activity. The purpose of this study is to explain and expose the problems and objectives of the research objectively and rationally. The research is carried out using the qualitative research method (field research), which means that the research aims to observe phenomena in the natural environment. The study formulated, How is parental parenting in enforcing the discipline of compulsory prayer of children, How is the implementation of compulsory prayer worship of children, What are the obstacles of parents in educating children to enforce the discipline of compulsory prayer worship. The results show that parenting of children involves setting a good example, giving them the right information, and patiently inviting them to perform obligatory prayers. At home and in the mushola, the actions of parents, the environment, and daily activities affect the performance of the obligatory prayer of the child. Environmental influences, a child's dependence on electronic devices, and difficulty supervising a child while a parent is working are some of the challenges that parents face. Parents remain important in guiding the child toward worship observance. The study provides deep insight into parents' efforts to build their child's religious attitudes by forcing them to perform obligatory prayers.
