Abstract
ABSTRACT Choirul Umam Sidiq . NPM 41182911170012. THE RELATIONSHIP OF LEARNING INTERESTS WITH LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF CLASS IX STUDENTS IN ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION SUBJECTS AT SABILUL MUHTADIN SMPI SCHOOL, Islamic Religious Education Study Program. Islamic University 45 Bekasi. This research aims to determine the relationship between interest in learning and student achievement in the PAI field of study at Sabilul Muhtadin Middle School. In theory, what is meant by interest in learning is the tendency to always pay attention and remember something continuously. Meanwhile, student learning achievement is the result of student grades achieved in the learning process, namely the value of student learning outcomes in the PAI field of study, which aims to lead students to better know and understand the procedures related to changes in a good Muslim, human beings and nature so that goals can be achieved. from learning. The results of the research show that there is an influence of interest in learning in the discussion method on student learning achievement in Islamic Religious Education subjects. The problems faced in schools are lack of learning which makes students at the school lack knowledge insight, and low interest in learning of students which makes them not learn effectively, because the methods used make students become bored, so from An interesting method to use is the discussion/question and answer method, because this method can increase children's interest in learning, and they can also be active in learning, thereby achieving good interest in learning, and increasing children's achievements. Factors that cause students to learn less are due to lack of supervision from their parents and too much time spent using gadgets or what are usually called cellphones.
