Abstract

In Law No. 7 of 2017 concerning Elections. Elections are used to elect successors to the government elite which are held based on election principles, namely: direct, general, free, secret, honest, fair, and held every 5 (five) years. Elections are held by the Indonesian KPU and Political Parties as participants who must fulfill the factual verification requirements, in the factual verification process of Political Parties as election participants in 2024. There have been indications of fraud and problems in the process, where two Commissioners of the General Election Commission of the Republic of Indonesia were reported to the Election Organizer Honorary Council (DKPP) for alleged intimidation of members of the Regional General Election Commission and cases of sexual harassment. The Bekasi City General Election Commission holds elections and carries out a factual verification process for political parties, which is one of the requirements for participating in the 2024 elections. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of factual verification of political parties as participants in the 2024 elections, to analyze the evaluation of the factual verification performance of political parties as participants. election by the Bekasi City General Election Commission and analyzing Stakeholder participation in the implementation of factual verification of Political Parties as Election participants in Bekasi City. using the Constructivism paradigm, the method used in the research uses qualitative methods accompanied by a case study research design. The data acquisition techniques used in this research include: observation, in-depth interviews, literature study and documentation. The research results stated that the implementation of factual verification of political parties was very good and in accordance with Constitution No. 7 of 2017 concerning general elections. In carrying out the factual verification process, the Bekasi City KPU carries out two factual verification processes, namely management verification by visiting political party offices to ensure that the management of the political party to be verified really exists and factual verification of membership by visiting directly or door to door to the homes of political party members. which will be verified. There are several things that must be evaluated by the Bekasi City KPU in carrying out factual verification, namely time effectiveness and service effectiveness. In its implementation, the Bekasi City KPU coordinates with the Bekasi City BAWASLU and Stakeholders (Independent Election Committee and the Archipelago Vision Study Institute) in Bekasi City.
