Abstract
Perfection is indeed something that we are proud of and look for, but as humans we cannot be separated from various shortcomings, so we have to look back and have to reanalyze previous deficiencies because there are some things that were not complete before and then developed. This study was conducted to determine the surface texture of S45C steel from machining processes with several variations of spindle rotation speed, infeed motion and infeed depth. The milling procedure used is clamping the workpiece (S45C steel) in a vise and then carving it using the specified parameter variations. A milling machine is a machine tool that produces a flat surface in which the blade rotates and the workpiece performs the feeding step. While the milling process is a machining process that generally produces a flat plane shape due to the movement of the machine table, where the process of reducing the workpiece material occurs due to contact between the cutter rotating on the shaft and the workpiece gripped on the machine table.
