Religious traditions such as haul which are often carried out in Islamic boarding schools are often labeled as heresy and tasyabuh, the custom of infidels from some groups of Muslims. This may be due to a lack of understanding of religion, where scholars have divided heresy into two, namely mahmudah (praiseworthy) and madzmummah (reprehensible). The aims of this research to find out what series of activities are in the Sayyid Muhammad Al-Maliki haul tradition at the Al-Khairaat Bekasi Islamic boarding school and to explain the educational values contained in the Sayyid Muhammad Al-Maliki haul tradition series at the Al-Khairaat Bekasi Islamic boarding school. This research was qualitative descriptive methods research. The data sources obtained in this research were through interviews with informants related to the haul tradition of Sayyid Muhammad Al-Maliki at the Al-Khairaat Bekasi Islamic boarding school, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that the Sayyid Muhammad Al-Maliki haul tradition has been held since 2005 and continues every year until now. The series of activities in the haul tradition include; khatmul qur'an, reciting tahlil, chanting poetry of praise and blessings on the Prophet Muhammad, recitation of the manaqib of Sayyid Muhammad Al-Maliki, religious lectures, breaking the fast together, maghrib prayer in congregation, isha prayer, and tarawih in congregation, and haflah Akhirussanah. Meanwhile, the educational values contained in the series of Sayyid Muhammad Al-Maliki haul traditions at the Al-Khairaat Bekasi Islamic boarding school are; the value of religious education, the value of moral education, the value of social education, the value of aesthetic education, the value of cultural education,and the value of personal self-education.
