Abstract
This study aims to: (1) determine the economic condition of the community amid the threat of an economic crisis due to the co-19 pandemic. (2) To find out how the economic impact of the Covid 19 pandemic for informal business actors in the Tamansari Village Area, Setu District, Bekasi Regency. (3) To find out the village government's strategy to overcome the impact of the economic downturn due to the co-19 pandemic. This research is a quantitative research. Data collection was carried out by using field observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that (1) this research was carried out in the Tamansari Village Area, Setu District. The impacts felt by informal business actors, both directly and indirectly, were decreased sales, temporary closures, capital and commodity difficulties experienced during large-scale social restrictions (PSBB). . (2) Strategies for surviving the Covid-19 pandemic, informal business actors can apply several strategies, namely: Utilizing e-commerce for a wider share, even though the marketing system is more optimal. The use of technology to make business more efficient, because technology is in high demand and follows the current market. Increase promotions on social media and increase operational hours.
