Erina Rahma Safitri (41183403170026) The Effect of Intellectual Capital on the Business Performance of Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) in Indonesia in 2016-2020. xiv + 90 pages + 12 tables + 1 figure + 15 attachments Keywords: Intellectual Capital, Rate of Growth of Intellectual Capital (ROGIC), Financial Performance, Zakat Performance Ratio (ZPR), Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) The aim of the study was to determine the influence of Intellectual Capital and the Rate of Growth of Intellectual Capital on the Business Performance of Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) which are proxied through the Zakat Performance Ratio (ZPR) in Indonesia in 2016-2020. The research method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The research data is secondary data, namely annual financial reports obtained from each official website of Islamic banking. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software version 25.0. The number of samples in this study were 10 Islamic Commercial Banks from 2016-2020. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The data used in the financial reports of Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) are in the form of total income, total expenses, employee expenses, total equity, total assets and total zakat. The results of the study show that the Intellectual Capital variable has significant and significant influence on financial performance which is proxied by the Zakat Performance Ratio (ZPR). Meanwhile, the Rate of Growth of Intellectual Capital (ROGIC) has no effect and is not significant on the financial performance of Islamic commercial banks. For future researchers, it is expected to add variables other than those in this study. Future researchers are also expected to replace proxies and be able to expand the research population by adding Sharia Business Units, Islamic People's Financing Banks or other Islamic Financial Institutions.
