Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to produce a product "Development of agility training models in handball sports aged 20-23" which can be used by handball coaches as an innovation in delivering agility training models for athletes aged 20-23 years. The research method used is Research and Development. The steps of this research were adopted from the steps of Sugiyono's research which used 10 steps, but due to the status of the Covid-19 Pandemic in Indonesia, this study only used the 5 steps of Research and Development proposed by Sugiyono. The validity test of the agility training model for the sport of handball was carried out by 3 experts, namely motor experts, coaching experts and handball coaching experts. The instrument used to collect data on the feasibility test of the agility training model is a questionnaire or questionnaire with a rating scale. The evaluation data are in the form of descriptive qualitative and quantitative percentages. The results showed that the agility training model in handball at the age of 20- 23 was appropriate to be used as a guide for agility training in the sport of handball at the age of 20-23. This is shown from several assessments carried out by motorists, coaching analysts and handball coaching experts. The final result of product assessment by motorists shows that this agility training model is declared "feasible to apply" with a percentage of 95% feasibility, the final result of product assessment by a coaching expert shows "feasible to apply" with a 100% feasibility percentage, and the final result of product assessment by a coaching expert handball shows "appropriate to apply with a percentage of 92.5%. From the results of the average value of motor experts, coaching experts and handball coaching, it shows "feasible to apply" with a feasibility percentage of 95.82%. So that this agility training model video product is suitable for use by handball trainers as a delivery of agility training material for handball sports aged 20-23.
