Abstract

In this study, the authors focused on the control and monitoring system for internet-based automatic plant sprinklers using the blynk application, which is an innovative solution to make it easier for users to care for plants efficiently. This system combines internet of things (Iot) technology and the blynk application. This automatic plant sprinkler uses a soil moisture sensor to detect the need for water in plants, when the soil moisture level is below a specified threshold, the controller will trigger a watering mechanism to sprinkle water on the plants, through the blynk application on an Android smartphone, users can monitor and control this system remotely. This application displays actual data about soil moisture and ambient temperature so that users can access real-time information about plant watering status and soil conditions at any time. Overall this tool is successful for developing an automatic plant sprinkler system. Using the blynk platform by collecting data regarding plant water needs and monitoring environmental conditions such as temperature and soil moisture directly, data is sent to blynk via sensors connected to the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller as a central control system connected to the internet.
