Abstract

Aulia Nurul Fitria. This thesis is entitled "Efforts to Improve Lower Passing Ability in Volleyball Through 3 On 3 Games in Class XI Students of SMAN 13 Bekasi". Health and Recreation Physical Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, “45” Islamic University Bekasi. This study aims to determine the increase in the lower passing ability in volleyball in class XI students of SMAN 13 Bekasi. The problem in this study is the teacher's efforts to improve volleyball underhand passing abilities. The modification used is a 3 on 3 game which makes it easier for students to play real volleyball. The method used in this research is the class action research method (CAR), namely by providing volleyball underhand passing learning. Before and after the teaching was given, pre- and post-tests were carried out to see how far the lower passing ability in volleyball had increased through the 3 on 3 game. The research subjects were taken by 36 class XI students of SMAN 13 Bekasi. The results of the study showed an increase in the ability to pass under volleyball through the 3 on 3 game. Preliminary observations showed that 12 students (33.3%) achieved KKM scores. In cycle 1 there was a significant increase showing the results of 20 students (55.5%) students who achieved the KKM score. Whereas in cycle 2 the results obtained were 25 people (70%) students who achieved the KKM score. In cycle 2 the results achieved were in accordance with what was targeted, namely 80% of students had achieved the KKM score, in this case the students had achieved the KKM score, so it was not continued in cycle III. The conclusion of this study is that learning the basic movement of passing down a volleyball through a 3 on 3 game is in accordance with the characteristics of class XI students of SMAN 13 Bekasi based on the results of this study the 3 on 3 game can improve the ability of passing down a volleyball in high school students of class XI SMAN 13 Bekasi .
