Abstract

Heart rate is the frequency of heart beats per minute. Normal heart rate varies from person to person, but the normal range for adults is 60 to 100 beats per minute. By knowing the heart rate, we can find out information about the health of the heart. Therefore, researchers made an Internet of Things (IoT) based heart rate reader. This tool uses the Wemos D1 R2 microcontroller as the system processor. Wemos D1 R2 has ESP8266-based WiFi capabilities, which makes this microcontroller able to connect to the internet network. Programming this tool uses Arduino IDE software. The human heart rate will be measured using a pulse sensor with the working principle of reading the light beam received by the receiver located on the front of the sensor. In this tool, there is also a 0.96" OLED which functions to display information on heart rate measurement values and graphs connected to the Blynk application. The heart rate test results obtained an error value with an average of 13.07%. While for the value of the accuracy rate with an average of 86.93% Kata Kunci: Heartbeat, Wemos D1 R2, Pulse Sensor, Internet of Things (IoT)
