Abstract
The effort to create a sheep farming business that is able to improve quality meat, increase income and welfare, support domestic food availability, and create jobs, as well as encourage commodity exports, good farming practice guidelines are needed. This research aims to evaluate the application of good farming practice of sheep farming on Rizki Akbar. The data were analyzed by using descriptive analytical methods with weighting based on importance aspects to good farming practice. The results showed that the value of the facilities aspect is 77.31%, the production process aspect value is 74.37%, the animal health aspect value is 74.85%, the environmental conservation aspect value is 72.57%, and the recording aspect value is 71. 64%. The total performance of good farming practice reaches 74.21%. It can be concluded that sheep farming has implemented good farming practice with a sufficient predicate.
