Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze how Political Party Information System Innovation (SIPOL) is in the Process of Registration and Verification of Political Parties as Candidates for the 2024 Election. In this study the data used is primary data obtained through an interview process with informants, namely related parties with the KPU's SIPOL Innovation. This study uses a qualitative method. The data analysis method used in this study is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this study are SIPOL innovation in the process of registering and verifying candidates for election contestants in terms of innovation indicators including, first, the Relative Adventage indicator of SIPOL innovation increases effectiveness and efficiency in the registration and verification process of political parties participating in elections. Second, the compatibility of the KPU's SIPOL innovation was carried out to update the KPU's computing system, which had many deficiencies during the previous election. Third, the indicator of complexity in the application of the SIPOL innovation by the KPU still has problems that are often found, such as the difficulty of access when the system is being maintained. Fourth, the indicator of the Possibility of Trial (Triabilty) of civil society innovation has gone through the trial phase and has been certified by the Ministry of Communication and Information. Fifth, the indicator of Observability in the application of the SIPOL innovation, the processes that occur are easily observed by political parties and Bawaslu and even by the public. Factors supporting the KPU's SIPOL innovation include, Parks, the political push factor in implementing the KPU's SIPOL innovation is the principle of effective and efficient elections and the government's role in implementing SIPOL innovation. Second, the factor of economic pressure and increased efficiency in the implementation of KPU SIPOL is saving on document transportation costs and interested parties can easily view documents that have been uploaded on the KPU SIPOL website. Third, the service improvement factor in the implementation of SIPOL innovation is the convenience of political parties in the registration process and the ease of the KPU in the process of verifying the requirements for registration of candidates for election contestants. Inhibiting factors based on indicators of reluctance to close failed programs, excessive dependence on high performance and completeness of technology are not found in SIPOL innovation .
