Abstract

Ayu Komariyah, 41182911180113: YUSUF AL-QARADHAWI'S CRITICAL THINKING STUDY ABOUT EDUCATIONAL VALUES TOWARDS THE ENVIRONMENT, Thesis, Bekasi: Department of Islamic Religious Education. Faculty of Islamic Religion. Islamic University "45" Bekasi, 2022. The purpose of this study was to find out Yusuf Al - Qaradawi's thoughts about the values of moral education towards the environment. a thinker who introduces Islam in a friendly, courteous, and moderate manner. so the writer is interested in conducting research with a literature approach and a critical study of Yusuf Al-Qaradawi in his works. The type of research conducted by the authors is library research. Namely research whose study is carried out by tracing and examining literature or written sources in the form of books, magazines and journals, legal materials consisting of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary. In this study, the primary legal material is an environmentally friendly Islamic religious book, written by Yusuf Al-Qaradhowi. Physical (ecological) and system (ecosystem) damage occurs due to human activities that do not pay attention to environmental conservation. Even though only a few people commit this act, the consequences are global in scale. this side will also encourage the creation of a process of re-actualization of Islamic religious values, in which the activity of respecting environmental rights is a value and form of practice of Islamic diversity. Therefore, there is relevance between moral values to the environment according to Yusuf Al's thought. -Qaradawi, towards the values of moral education as explained by the researcher above and later which will be able to help improve the quality of moral formation even better. So it is obligatory for us to love other creatures of God, namely the environment including animals and plants. Keywords: Morals, Environment, Values.
