Abstract

The aim of the research was to find out the optimal amount of each peanut brittle to produce in order to achieve maximum profit, and to find out how much raw material costs must be spent to achieve optimal production, and to find out how much profit is obtained when Ciwa Hungry produces the optimal amount. The method used is descriptive quantitative which uses research instruments, as well as analyzing Ciwa Hungry sales data and other data in production activities. Data collection techniques carried out were interviews and observation. Based on the results of the research conducted, the optimal amount of production for peanut brittle peanuts is 120, green peanut peanut brittle is 100, and rebon peanut brittle is 80. And for the cost of raw materials for each peanut brittle spent, peanut peanut brittle is Rp. 4,705,800, green bean peanut brittle Rp. 3,796,500, and rebon peanut brittle Rp. 3,437. 200. By producing the optimal amount, Ciwa Hungry's profit is Rp. 1,294,110,with a percentage of 53%. In general, it can be concluded that Ciwa Hungry will get the maximum profit when Ciwa Hungry plans the amount of production well. To increase profits, it is suggested to Ciwa Hungry to maximize the amount of production according to the results of linear programming management using the simplex method which has been carried out with the help of the Pom - Qm application for Windows v5.
