Abstract
The clean water needs of the people of Ridogalih Village are quite large, but these needs are not balanced with the availability of sufficient water. Especially with regard to inadequate springs. Based on this, the people of Ridogalih Village are trying to carry out various countermeasures both collectively, individually and structurally to overcome clean water problems in their area in order to meet the needs for clean water. The objectives of this study are (1) conduct an analysis to determine the water use carried out by the people of Ridogalih Village. (2) analyze the fulfillment of clean water needs in Ridogalih Village. (3) conduct an analysis to determine the impact caused by the non-fulfillment of clean water in Ridogalih Village. (4) analyze strategies to overcome clean water problems in Ridogalih Village. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive use. This study intends to find out the strategies carried out by the community to meet the needs of clean water. The subject of the study was the people of Ridogalih Village. The research informants consisted of local RT and RW chairmen, as well as parties involved and aware of existing problems. Data collection techniques are by observation, interviews and documentation. And the validity of the data used is the data triangulation technique. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data submission and drawing conclusions. The results showed that (1) the water consumed by the people of Ridogalih Village came from the cihoe river and drilled wells. (2) clean water problems that occur in the people of Ridogalih Village cannot be separated from the aspects of facilities, distance and nature that affect the community in meeting clean water needs. (3) the problem of non-fulfillment of the availability of clean water greatly affects the health of the body, especially the health of the skin. (4) Some communities have taken every action to meet water needs. With actions divided into 3 individually, collectively and structurally including buying refillable water, subscribing to dug wells, subscribing to drilled wells and the latter using cihoe rivers.
