Abstract

Dolla Destia Yuwanda (41183402170017) The Effect of Work Discipline and Work Motivation on Job Performance of the Bekasi City Trade and Industry Office 141 Pages + 2 Graphs + 1 Diagram + 30 Tables + 16 Appendices Keywords: Work Discipline, Work Motivation, Work Performance The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline on work performance of employees of the Bekasi city trade and industry office, to determine the effect of work motivation on work performance of trade and industry office staff of Bekasi city and to determine the effect of work discipline and work motivation on work performance. The population of this study were employees of the Bekasi City Trade and Industry Office. The sample of this research is the Field of Trade and Industrial Employees Market in Bekasi City with a total of 60 respondents. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method, with the data used is primary data. To determine the sample used in this study using purposive sampling technique. The data search technique in this study is by distributing questionnaires online through the Google Form. Then, the data that has been collected will be processed using statistical tests and calculations using multiple correlation analysis which is calculated using the Statistical Product and Service Solution 26.0 (SPSS 26.0) program. Based on the answers to the questionnaires that have been partially processed, the results obtained from the work discipline variable have a significant positive effect on work performance. This is evidenced by the t-test value for the work discipline variable of 3.799 with a significant number of 0.000 or less than 0.05, then Ho is rejected Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a positive and significant influence between work discipline on work performance. Work motivation variable has a significant positive effect on work performance. This is evidenced by the t test value of the variable work motivation of 4.998 or less than 0.05, then Ho is rejected Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a positive and significant influence between work motivation on work performance.
