Abstract

This study aims to find out how to calculate the cost of CV Sinar Terang Abadi on a tree planting project on the West Java International Airport access toll road and knowing how to calculate costs using the Just In Time (JIT) method as well as knowing how efficient the two cost calculations are. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out by observation and interview techniques. The focus of the research is all the costs incurred by the company in carrying out tree planting work on the West Java International Airport access toll road. The observation time is carried out in November - December 2021. The results showed that based on the company's calculation plan, the total cost used in implementing the project was IDR 360,667,570 while the Just In Time (JIT) method was IDR 352,956,499.58. The Just In Time (JIT) method is more efficient by 2.14%. Then the Just In Time waste of IDR 9,547,974.58 or as a percentage of 2.78%. While the corporate method has a waste of IDR 17,259,045 or as a percentage of 5.03%. Keywords: project cost, Just In Time (JIT) method, and efficiency
