Abstract

The thesis entitled "Strategy of the Bekasi Regency Archives and Libraries Service in Increasing Interest in Reading Through the iBekasiKab Application", was written by Maulana Ikhsan with NIM. 41183506170004 guided by Elvira Suryani S.IP.M,.SI. This dilator is motivated by the low reading interest of the community, especially Bekasi Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through literature study, interviews, observation and documentation.In this study, using the theory according to Philip Kotler and Keller SWOT analysis is the overall evaluation of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of an organization. The focus of this research is to find out the strategy of the Bekasi Regency Archives and Library Service in increasing reading interest with the iBekasiKab application, the strengths and weaknesses faced by the Archives and Library Service, to find out the effectiveness of the iBekasiKab application to increase interest read society. The results of the study show that the strategy for increasing reading interest with the iBekasiKab application has increased every year even though it is not as expected by the Disarpus Service, socialization and promotion in introducing the application to the public must be carried out routinely and effectively so that the application is better known the people of Bekasi enrich and increase the number of various book collections.
