Abstract

Technology in the field of information is currently developing very rapidly, Internet access is a necessity that is carried out in people's lives in the digital era. In addition, the Internet is a medium of information that is freely accessible without limits. Therefore, the use of the Internet network in schools which is not restricted causes students to be able to open sites that are not in accordance with the lesson, such as for example opening social media, negative site content and others so that it disturbs students' concentration when learning takes place. In this study, the method used in blocking was carried out quantitatively using a proxy by testing using the Web Proxy Method which can block the desired Web site. The results of this research can be successful Hotspots and blocked sites such as YouTube and Facebook.
