Abstract
This study aims to describe the knowledge of the community's environment on the occurrence of floods in comp. PAM Jaya Jati Keramat Village to describe flood mitigation in PAM Jaya Jati Keramat Village, Jati Asih District, Bekasi City. Knowing the relationship of community environmental knowledge with flood flood disaster mitigation. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a comp. Pamjaya, Jatikeramat Village, Jatiasih District, Bekasi City. The population in this study is the Komp. Pamjaya with a total of 452 people. While the sample of respondents is 38 people Komp. Pamjaya Jatikeramat Village, Jatiasih District, Bekasi City. Sampling is done by using the Slovin formula. The data collection techniques are observation, questionnaires, interviews, literature studies and documentation. After that, followed by data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis and statistical analysis using the percentage formula, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov formula, the validity formula, the product moment correlation formula and the correlation significance. variables in this study include variable (x) environmental knowledge variable (y) flood disaster mitigation. Based on the results of the calculation of the correlation between environmental knowledge and flood disaster mitigation in the Pamjaya Complex, Jatikramat Village, Bekasi City, the correlation coefficient value was 0.693 with a significance of 0.000. Ha is accepted because the significance is > 0.05 so there is a significant relationship between environmental knowledge and flood disaster mitigation.
