Abstract

The performance of an engine in general can be seen from the level of torque, power,fuelconsumption.Ingeneral,todeterminetheperformanceofamachine,it can be seen from the specifications of the machine from the manufacturer of the machine. The data and specifications from these manufacturers can be used as an initial reference for the magnitude of the performance of an engine or can also be calledthecharacterofthegasolineengine.Inmotorvehicleswithinjectionsystems, thereisadevicethatmanypeopleoftenmention,butstillveryfewknowabout.The deviceistheenginecontrolunit,orbetterknownasthemotorECU.ECUorengine control unit is a set of tools that work as a system for regulating and controlling motorized vehicles. This device can be said to be the center of all activities that occur in a motorized vehicle. This study aims to compare the differences in engine performance in 110cc engine vehicles. The research method used in this study is the experimental method, which is a method to find a causal relationship between the two factors that was deliberately caused by the researcher. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in engine performance results when using the Standard ECU with the BRT Juken-5 ECU from 4500 rpm to 10000 rpm. The increaseintorquevalueoccursinthestandardECUof8.78N/mat9500rpm,while the BRT Juken-5 ECU gets a torque value of 8.64 N/m at 9500 rpm. The increase inpowervalueintheBRTJuken-5ECUis8.40hpat9500rpm,whilethestandard ECU gets a value of 8.15 hp at 9500rpm. Keywords: power torque comparison, standard ecu, ecu brt juken-5
