Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru agama Islam dalam mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai multikultural pada mata pelajaran PAI Di SMK Negeri 1 Cileungsi. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena banyaknya kasus mengenai merosotnya nilai-nilai multikultural yang ada di Indonesia seperti kasus bullying, diskriminasi suku, agama, ras dan antargolongan (SARA). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yaitu penelitian lapangan (Field Research). Cara pencarian datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun objek penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 1 Cileungsi. Hasil temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran guru agama Islam dalam mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai multikultural kepada peserta didik di SMK Negeri 1 Cileungsi tidak terlepas dari 4 peran pendidik dalam Islam yaitu “murabbi, muallim, muaddib, mudarris” dan berdasarkan tiga nilai utama sekolah yaitu profesional (professional), toleransi (tolerance) dan keteladanan (exemplary) yang diintegrasikan kedalam tiga domain keseimbangan yang meliputi attitude (sikap dan perilaku), skill (keterampilan) dan knowledge (pengetahuan) maka nilai-nilai ini merupakan bagian dari nilai-nilai multikultural. Selain itu, mencakup juga dari tradisi multikultural di sekolah yang diwujudkan melalui corak perilaku warga sekolah sebagai bagian dari adanya nilai-nilai multikutural seperti kesadaran beragama, toleransi perbedaan, saling menghargai dan kepedulian sosial. Kata Kunci : Peran Guru Agama, Nilai-Nilai Multikultural, Peserta Didik This study aims to determine the role of Islamic religious teachers in implementing multicultural values in PAI subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Cileungsi. The background of this research is because there are many cases regarding the decline of multicultural values in Indonesian, such as the case bullying, ethnic, religiou, racial and intergroup discrimination (SARA). This study used a qualitative method, namely field research. How to find the data using observation, interviews and documentation. The object of this study indicate conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Cileungsi. The findings from this study indicate that the role of Islamic religion teachers in implementing multicultural values to students at SMK Negeri 1 Cileungsi cannot to be separated from the 4 roles of education in Islam, namely “murrabi, muallim, muaddib, muddaris” and based on the three main values of the school are profesional (professional), tolerance (tolerance) and exemplary (exemplary) which is intergrated into three balance domains which include attitude (attitude and behavior), skills (skills) dan knowledge (knowledge) then these values are part of multicultural values. In addition, it also includes multicultural traditions in schools which are manifested through the behavior of school members as part of the existence of multicultural values such as religion awarenes, tolerance for differences, mutual respect and school concern.
