Abstract

The extrusion process is a forming process through pressing the material that is forced to flow through the mold to produce a shape according to the mold. The basic principle of this tool is to enter the raw materials which will be processed and heated according to the characteristics of the material and then pushed out through a die in the desired shape. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that influence the thickness of the CPF and to find the optimal parameter setting for the extruder rpm speed to obtain the thickness and characteristics of CPF KHK 40 μ. Test results with speed line variations 87,90,94,98, dam 102 rpm and speed variations ext A 90,93,97.2,101.3,105.1 rpm ext M 120,124.1,129.6,135.2,140.6 rpm ext B 135,139.6,145.3,152,158.2 rpm produces an average thickness of 40, thickness variations of 40.28 and variations of 0.13. Key words : CPF extrusion process, factors affecting CPF, speed line variation and extruder speed to get optimization
