Abstract

This research was conducted as a form of the author's observation that the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) has a role in realizing a sakinah family and resolving domestic and religious conflicts through solutions. So, the implementation of the Sakinah Family Guidance Program is a form of activity that is divided into 2 methods, namely Marriage Guidance (Bimwin) in groups and independently. This program is the government's intention to minimize high divorce cases and emphasize cases of domestic violence (KDRT) so as to improve the quality of generations through a family. This study aims to find out how the implementation of the Sakinah Family Guidance, especially the role of the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in Cilamaya Wetan District, Karawang Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, data collection is done through interviews, observations, documentation and literature studies. The results of this study can be seen the role of KUA Cilamaya Wetan in organizing the Sakinah Family Guidance Program that runs routinely in accordance with the standard operating procedures for the Islamic Community Guidance (Bimas Islam) Ministry of Religion and gets a positive response from the community to apply it in family life. There are obstacles, namely, the lack of awareness and participation for the bride and groom to follow the Marriage Guidance, the limited human resources of the KUA in the Cilamaya Wetan District, and the limited facilities and infrastructure.
